Resolution No. 409 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CDP) YEAR 2023 – 2028 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL

WHEREAS, Section 16 of the General Welfare Clause of RA 7160 provides in part that every Local Government Unit shall exercise powers necessary for its efficient and effective governance and those which are essential to the promotion of the general welfare;

WHEREAS, Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that each Local Government Unit shall have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to be initiated by its development council and approved by the Sangguniang Bayan;

WHEREAS, the Taytay Development Council (TDC) has adopted TDC Resolution No. 2024-001 entitled: A Resolution Recommending the Adoption of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Year 2023 – 2028 of the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal, signed by a majority of its members;

WHEREAS, the TDC’s review and adoption of Resolution No. 2024-001 affirms the council’s approval of the contents of the Comprehensive Development Plan;

WHEREAS, CDP is a multi-year plan prepared by the Local Government Unit in order to promote the general welfare of its inhabitants and serve as guide for the planners and implementers in the effective delivery of services to its people;
WHEREAS, the CDP consolidates the program and projects designed to carry out the objectives of the fifth development sectors, social, economic, physical land use, environmental management, and institutional development and is observed to have answered the sentiments and aspirations of Taytayeños;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby ADOPTS THE COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CDP) YEAR 2023 – 2028 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to submit copies of this Resolution to all concerned parties and higher authorities and duly constituted bodies for their information and appropriate action pursuant to the existing laws.

ADOPTED, this 23rd day of May 2024, 5:58 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
