A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO GIVE A YEAR-END CASH INCENTIVES TO ALL PUBLIC ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING PERSONNEL WITH PERMANENT POSITIONS, SCHOOL HEADS ASSIGNED IN THIS MUNICIPALITY AND PSDS RENDERING SERVICE IN DEPED TAYTAY SUB-OFFICE IN RECOGNITION OF THEIR SELFLESS SERVICES FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024 - 2025 SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, APPLICABLE LAWS AND AUDITING RULES AND REGULATIONS
WHEREAS, Section 447 (a)(1)(xi) of the Local Government Code of 1991 states that “when the finances of the municipal government allow, provide for additional allowances and other benefits to ... public elementary and high school teachers, and other national government officials stationed in or assigned to the municipality”;
WHEREAS, every year-end, an incentive to recognize the invaluable role of educators in the lives of learners that contribute to the betterment of the community is given by the Local Government Unit of Taytay to its DepEd Taytay Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel, School Heads, and PSDS rendering service in DepEd Taytay;
WHEREAS, Mayor Allan De Leon, together with the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, would like to honor all public elementary and high school teaching and non-teaching personnel, school heads, and PSDS currently rendering service in the Municipality of Taytay under the Department of Education - Rizal for their selfless performance of duty beyond what is asked of them;
WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Taytay deems it fitting to give endowment to public school teachers, non-teaching personnel with permanent positions, school heads, and PSDS in the form of monetary incentive to cater to every educator in all public schools in the Municipality of Taytay;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby AUTHORIZES THE HONORABLE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO GIVE A YEAR-END CASH INCENTIVES TO ALL PUBLIC ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL TEACHING AND NON-TEACHING PERSONNEL WITH PERMANENT POSITIONS, SCHOOL HEADS ASSIGNED IN THIS MUNICIPALITY AND PSDS RENDERING SERVICE IN DEPED TAYTAY SUB-OFFICE IN RECOGNITION OF THEIR SELFLESS SERVICES FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2024 - 2025 SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, APPLICABLE LAWS AND AUDITING RULES AND REGULATIONS.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 13th day of November 2024, 2:08 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
