A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL TO INCLUDE AS PRIORITY THE PROPOSED VARIOUS DEVELOPMENTS AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS UNDER THE 20% DEVELOPMENT FUND CALENDAR YEAR 2024
WHEREAS, Section 17,b,2, of R.A. 7160 also known as the Local Government Code of 1991 defines the Basic Services of the Local Government Unit through Infrastructure facilities intended primarily to service the needs of the residents of the municipality and which are funded out of municipal funds including, but not limited to, Social welfare services which include programs and projects on child and youth welfare, family and community welfare, Municipal buildings, cultural centers, public parks including freedom parks, playgrounds, and sports facilities and equipment, and other similar facilities; municipal roads and bridges; school buildings and other facilities for public elementary and secondary schools; small water impounding projects and similar projects such as drainage and sewerage, and flood control; Public markets and other improvements;
WHEREAS, there is a need to accommodate the underlying concerns of Taytayenos especially problems in accessibility due to low elevation and flooding and create a well conducive developments in providing basic services of the general public;
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government is required to support the principles of Sustainable Development and must harmonize the same with the common concerns, thus recommending the following projects to be included as priority in the 20% Development Fund of 2024:
Project Description
1. Improvement of Road with Drainage Canal at Bulacan Street Barangay San Isidro, TR
2. Upgrading and Rehabilitation of Sakadama Alley Barangay Sta. Ana, Taytay, Rizal
3. Drainage Canal Phase 2 at Villa Suarez Sitio Siwang Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal
4. Road Elevation and Concreting and Improvement of Drainage System along Ynares Avenue from Block 0 to Block 18, Barangay Sta. Ana, T.R.
5. Road Elevation and Concreting and Improvement of Drainage System at San Lorenzo Ruiz Phase III Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal
6. Improvement of Existing Roofing at Purok 2 Court Lupang Arenda Barangay Sta. Ana
7. Floor Elevation and Roof Extension at Sakbit Court Purok 7 Lupang Arenda Barangay Sta. Ana
8. Road Elevation and Concreting and Improvement of Drainage System along Mahinhin Street Dolores, TR
9. Construction of Municipal Funerary Chapel in 5 Brgys
10. Site Development of Sports Complex at Barangay Muzon, Taytay Rizal
11. Rehabilitation of New Taytay Public Market Building B Tiling of Flooring, Barangay San Juan, TR
12. Road Elevation and Drainage Improvement of Greenville East Subdivision Entrance Road Sta. Ana, TR
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, to REQUEST THE MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL TO INCLUDE AS PRIORITY THE PROPOSED VARIOUS DEVELOPMENTS AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS UNDER THE 20% DEVELOPMENT FUND CALENDAR YEAR 2024.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that a copy be furnished to all parties concerned.
