Resolution No. 352 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION GRANTING EXTENSION FOR THE PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FOR THE RENEWAL OF BUSINESS PERMIT AND LICENSES UP TO MARCH 31, 2024 WITHOUT PENALTIES AND SURCHARGES

WHEREAS, the Local Revenue Code of Taytay, Rizal mandates the renewal and payment of Business Permit and Licenses and that no Business Permit shall be issued without registration from the Department of Trade and Industry;

WHEREAS, due to increasing number of the business establishment in our Municipality, it is deemed necessary for the taxpayers to be given ample time for the settlement of their business permit and licenses to avoid unnecessary charges and penalties, as well as follow social distancing and the minimum health protocols during pandemic;

WHEREAS, the payment of Business Permit and Licenses without penalties and surcharges is only up to January 20, 2024;

WHEREAS, despite that the Sangguniang Bayan had required all concerned departments and sections in the filing of Business Permit to provide a system of procedure in the implementation of the processing of payment for the convenience of the paying public, businesses and other entities may not be able to pay the same within the deadline;

WHEREAS, the paying public, businesses and other entities are also encouraged to utilize and maximize the Electronic - Business One Stop Shop (e-B.O.S.S.), the online registration for new / renewal of Business Permit, that is already available to address the bulk of the registrants in the municipality;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, to GRANT EXTENSION FOR THE PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FOR THE RENEWAL OF BUSINESS PERMIT AND LICENSES UP TO MARCH 31, 2024 WITHOUT PENALTIES AND SURCHARGES.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all offices concerned for their information and appropriate action.

ADOPTED, this 17th day of January 2024, 2:25 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
