Resolution No. 566 series of 2025

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TAYTAY-SAN ISIDRO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

WHEREAS, Article II, Section 17 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution provides that, “the state shall give priority to education, science and technology, arts, culture and sports to foster patriotism and nationalism, accelerate social progress to promote total human liberation and development”;

WHEREAS, due to the growing number of enrollees from Barangay San Isidro, the Simona National High School administration suggested to establish a new national high school located at St. Anthony subdivision in Brgy. San Isidro that will cater to future enrollees from other parts of the barangay and the municipality;

WHEREAS, DepEd Order No. 40 s. 2014 provides the guidelines for the establishment, merging, conversion, and naming / renaming of public schools, and separation of public school annexes in basic education, and a resolution from the Sangguniang Bayan is one of the fundamental documents for the establishment of a new school;

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Taytay under the leadership of Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon and the 12th Sangguniang Bayan fully supports the championing of education thru the establishment of an added school in the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal to be known as Taytay-San Isidro National High School;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby SUPPORTS THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TAYTAY-SAN ISIDRO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copy of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and guidance.

ADOPTED, this 19th day of February 2025, 2:12 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
