A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING OUR LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO SIGN AND ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) TO VARIOUS ACCREDITED TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, Section 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that every local government unit shall exercise the powers expressly granted, those necessarily implied therefrom, as well as powers necessary, appropriate, or incidental for its efficient and effective governance, and those which are essential to the promotion of the general welfare;
WHEREAS, every local government units shall endeavor to be self-reliant and continue exercising the powers and discharging the duties and functions currently vested upon them, and shall likewise exercise such other powers, functions and responsibilities necessary, appropriate or incidental to efficient and effective provisions of basic services to its constituents;
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Taytay, Rizal shall establish a partnership to various accredited Technical Vocational Institution within the Municipality for the implementation of sustainable livelihood programs that will be beneficial to its constituents specially to those vulnerable and marginalized families;
WHEREAS, the technical vocational institution shall ensure that the provisions of the agreement are properly implemented and coordinated with the Local Government of Taytay for the purpose of ensuring the high standard of training as well as to provide specific, general occupational-related theoretical instruction, education and practical training skills, values and human formation and core competencies;
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Memorandum of Agreement between the Municipal Government of Taytay, Rizal and those various accredited Technical Vocational Institution is to strengthen the skills, competencies, abilities and resources of our less fortunate constituents and create an enabling environment for accessing income-generating opportunities to address basic need, thereby improving their socio-economic well-being;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby AUTHORIZES OUR LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO SIGN AND ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) TO VARIOUS ACCREDITED TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD PROGRAMS.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all Offices concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 18th day of October 2023, 6:21 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
