Resolution No. 574 series of 2025

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COMPENSATION OF OVERTIME SERVICES TO THE PERSONNEL OF THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL TREASURER OF THIS MUNICIPALITY WHO SHALL PERFORM ELECTION AND POST ELECTION DUTIES

WHEREAS, the Office of the Municipal Treasurer is mandated among others to prepare, sort, pack, and distribute election supplies, forms, ballots, and other paraphernalia as well as the retrieval and safe storage of ballot boxes;

WHEREAS, due to the heavy workload which the Office of the Municipal Treasurer is expected to handle, it will be compelled to mobilize its entire workforce to be able to discharge the said functions and responsibilities on time;

WHEREAS, all the personnel who will perform election-related work shall be compensated on every 6-work hours basis and pro-rated for every fraction thereof in lieu of regular overtime rates until the completion of election and post-election duties in connection with National and Local Elections on May 12, 2025, to wit:

COMELEC Deputy P 3,000.00
Deputy for Operation P 2,500.00
Support Staff P 2,000.00
Team Leader P 2,000.00
Member P 1,500.00

WHEREAS, the monetary compensation to be given to the approximately 60 service personnel shall be sourced from the 2025 General Fund’s MOOE under Election Reserve;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby AUTHORIZES THE COMPENSATION OF OVERTIME SERVICES TO THE PERSONNEL OF THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL TREASURER OF THIS MUNICIPALITY WHO SHALL PERFORM ELECTION AND POST ELECTION DUTIES.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copy of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and guidance.

ADOPTED, this 26th day of February 2025, 3:57 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
