Resolution No. 300 series of 2023

A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO-STOREY SCHOOL BUILDING AND A MULTIPURPOSE HALL AT BAGONG PAG-ASA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, BARANGAY SAN JUAN, TAYTAY, RIZAL

WHEREAS, the Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School (BPES) expressed their prayer to replace the dilapidated Pangilinan School Building with a two-storey Ynares-type school building and to construct in the vacant area a multipurpose hall intended for the school’s canteen and Home Economics & Computer Laboratory;

WHEREAS, the construction of the new school building and multipurpose hall will be greatly beneficial for the pupils’ learning and will improve the teaching-learning process that enhances the skills, potentials and growth of the enrollees at BPES;

WHEREAS, the Pangilinan School Building, based on the inspection of the Municipal Engineering Office, is vulnerable to pest attack, prone to biotic forces and shrinking and swelling of wood and it also has cracks at the entrance corner and on the ground floor slab;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Engineering Office found the Pangilinan Building subject to demolition to give way for the proposed construction of a Two-Storey Ynares-type School Building with four classrooms;

WHEREAS, the Local Government of Taytay has insufficient funds for the construction of the said school building thus entails seeking the support of the Provincial Government in response to the request of Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School;

WHEREAS, attached herewith is the letter of the Bagong Pag-asa Elementary School, the Inspection Report of the Taytay Engineering Office and the School’s Site Development Plan;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TWO-STOREY SCHOOL BUILDING AND A MULTIPURPOSE HALL AT BAGONG PAG-ASA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, BARANGAY SAN JUAN, TAYTAY, RIZAL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, copies of this Resolution and its attachments be forwarded to the Office of the Honorable Governor Nina Ricci Ynares and other concerned offices for their information and perusal.

ADOPTED, this 11th day of October 2023, 3:54 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
