A RESOLUTION IMPLORING THE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT OF THE MUNICIPAL AND BARANGAY LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS THRU THE PNP TAYTAY, MPSD, STAG AND ALL PEACE KEEPING TEAMS OF THE FIVE BARANGAYS IN TAYTAY TO STRICTLY IMPLEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 8 SPECIFICALLY ON THE PROHIBITION OF MODIFIED OPEN MUFFLERS
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay has adopted the Traffic Regulations Ordinance in 2003 and was later amended to update the penalties for each violations of offenders that deliberately disrupt the peace and order of the inhabitants of this Municipality;
WHEREAS, numerous complaints of motorcycles with open mufflers have been traversing main roads, side streets and even subdivision roads that cause disturbances to our constituents;
WHEREAS, these reckless actions are in direct violation of the LTO directives on the crackdown against boga-boga (motorcycles with modified mufflers causing undesirable / irritating sounds) and to existing ordinances within the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby IMPLORES THE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT OF THE MUNICIPAL AND BARANGAY LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS THRU THE PNP TAYTAY, MPSD, STAG AND ALL PEACE KEEPING TEAMS OF THE FIVE BARANGAYS IN TAYTAY TO STRICTLY IMPLEMENT ORDINANCE NO. 8 SPECIFICALLY ON THE PROHIBITION OF MODIFIED OPEN MUFFLERS.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Public Information Office is requested to put up signages pertaining to the said ordinance and that a training be conducted to personnel under the MPSD and STAG.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
