Resolution No. 426 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HONORABLE CONGRESSPERSON SHERNEE TAN-TAMBUT, PARTYLIST REPRESENTATIVE - KUSUG TAUSUG, TO HELP PROVIDE ONE (1) UNIT OF AMBULANCE VEHICLE FOR THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF TAYTAY, RIZAL FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal has been home to many Muslim Filipinos since the early 1990s;

WHEREAS, through an Executive Order No. 99 series of 2023, the Honorable Municipal Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA, established a Muslim Consultative Council to bridge indifferences between religions, forge meaningful collaborations and to serve as the primary body for the representation of Muslim communities in the municipalities;

WHEREAS, one of the identified needs of the Muslim Consultative Council is the provision of an ambulance dedicated for the use of Muslim residents, for immediate transfer of patients, and in the event of death, cadavers, which requires time-bound funeral rites;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal recognizes the importance of securing an ambulance vehicle for the Municipality of Taytay, and accommodate the need of patients and for the betterment of health services for the members of the Muslim community;

WHEREAS, the Kusug Tausug, a partylist representation in the House of Representatives of the Philippines, under the leadership of Congressperson Shernee Tan-Tambut, is a vital partner in supporting the healthcare initiatives across the country;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby EARNESTLY REQUESTS HONORABLE CONGRESSPERSON SHERNEE TAN-TAMBUT, PARTYLIST REPRESENTATIVE - KUSUG TAUSUG, TO HELP PROVIDE ONE (1) UNIT OF AMBULANCE VEHICLE FOR THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF TAYTAY, RIZAL FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to all associated offices and parties concerned for their information and appropriate action.

ADOPTED, this 10th day of July 2024, 3:47 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
