A RESOLUTION ENJOINING DEPED TAYTAY SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL TO POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE A PHOTO OR PORTRAIT AND BRIEF HISTORY OR PROFILE OF THEIR SCHOOL’S NAMESAKE
WHEREAS, the 2024 Regional Athletic Association Meet (RAAM) of the Department of Education will be hosted by the province of Rizal with the opening ceremonies and most of the sporting events to be conducted at the Taytay Sports Complex;
WHEREAS, the DepEd Taytay Schools will be used for housing student athletes from all over CALABARZON for the duration of the RAAM;
WHEREAS, there are public and private schools in the municipality that were named after notable former public servants in this municipality and beyond;
WHEREAS, in order to share the culture and history of the Municipality of Taytay to other student athletes and their delegations in the upcoming Regional Athletic Association Meet of the Department of Education, all DepEd schools in this municipality are hereby enjoined to post in a conspicuous place a photo or portrait and brief history or profile of their school’s namesake;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby ENJOINS DEPED TAYTAY SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL TO POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE A PHOTO OR PORTRAIT AND BRIEF HISTORY OR PROFILE OF THEIR SCHOOL’S NAMESAKE.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the schools shall consult with the Taytay Cultural, Historical, and Creative Industries Council (TCHCIC) as well as seek the consent / approval of the family for the photo and brief history or profile of the school’s namesake.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 15th day of January 2025, 2:57 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
