Resolution No. 407 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE LUPON TAGAPAMAYAPA OF BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO FOR BEING RECOGNIZED AS THE 2024 LUPONG TAGAPAMAYAPA INCENTIVE AWARDS – PROVINCIAL LEVEL GRAND WINNER

WHEREAS, Section 406(b) of RA 7160 or the Local Government Code states that, “the Department of the Interior and Local Government shall provide for a system of granting economic or other incentives to the lupon or pangkat members who adequately demonstrate the ability to judiciously and expeditiously resolve cases referred to them”;

WHEREAS, The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards is an annual search that recognizes outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa who satisfactorily demonstrate the ability to resolve cases referred to them and illustrate exemplary performance and commendable contribution in the promotion and implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay;

WHEREAS, the Lupon Tagapamayapa of San Isidro, Taytay, Rizal under the leadership of Barangay Chairperson Vivian Reyes Yupangco and the Sangguniang Barangay of San Isidro, through the outstanding performance of their Lupon members, won the Provincial Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards;

WHEREAS, San Isidro Lupong Tagapamayapa received a rating of 97.5% for this year’s provincial assessment and was hailed as 5 time Municipal Winner of the same from 2018 - 2023;

WHEREAS, the accomplishment of the Lupon gives honor not only to the Municipality of Taytay but also to the entire province, highlighting their commitment to sustaining peace and harmony in the barangay, and their dedication to the values of Katarungang Pambarangay sets a benchmark for other barangays to follow;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Taytay under the leadership of Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA and the 12th Sangguniang Bayan extends its felicitations to the feat achieved by the Lupon Tagapamayapa of Barangay San Isidro prevailing against over more than 180 Lupons within the Province of Rizal;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby COMMENDS AND CONGRATULATES THE LUPON TAGAPAMAYAPA OF BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO FOR BEING RECOGNIZED AS THE 2024 LUPONG TAGAPAMAYAPA INCENTIVE AWARDS – PROVINCIAL LEVEL GRAND WINNER.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their information.

ADOPTED, this 22nd day of May 2024, 2:26 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
