A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, REPRESENTED BY MUNICIPAL MAYOR HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA AND SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM BY ITS DIVISION HEAD, VICE PRESIDENT BENJAMIN M. DOLINDO JR., FOR THE SSS REGISTRATION AND COVERAGE OF CONTRACT OF SERVICE AND JOB ORDER PERSONNEL OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Municipality Government of Taytay, has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with Social Security System (“SSS”) through Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 325 series of 2023 entitled, “A Resolution Authorizing the Municipal Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA, to Sign and Enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Social Security System (“SSS”) by its Division Head, Vice President Benjamin M. Dolindo Jr., for the SSS Registration and Coverage of Contract of Service (“COS”) and Job Order (“JO”) Personnel of the Municipal Government of Taytay, Rizal”;
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government finds the proposed registration and coverage of COS / JO personnel in the SSS program to be beneficial to the same and will be helpful in making sure that the COS / JO personnel are secured against the hazards of disability, sickness, maternity, old age, death and other contingencies;
WHEREAS, the SSS has agreed to cover the COS and JO personnel of the Municipal Government of Taytay, Province of Rizal as Self-employed Members under the Social Security Act of 2018;
WHEREAS, consistent with the goal of providing Serbisyong May Ngiti to all Taytayeños, the signing of said MOA will strengthen the mission of this Municipal Government to meet the needs of its employee;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan deems it proper to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement that was signed last January 29, 2024 by Municipal Government of Taytay and SSS through their respective representatives;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby RATIFIES THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, REPRESENTED BY MUNICIPAL MAYOR HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA AND SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM BY ITS DIVISION HEAD, VICE PRESIDENT BENJAMIN M. DOLINDO JR., FOR THE SSS REGISTRATION AND COVERAGE OF CONTRACT OF SERVICE AND JOB ORDER PERSONNEL OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 27th day of November 2024, 7:11 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
