A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND COMMENDING MS. TONI ALMONTE FOR BEING CROWNED AS MS. PHILIPPINES GREAT BRITAIN EARTH 2024 IN THE MISS PHILIPPINES GREAT BRITAIN 2024 PAGEANT HELD ON NOVEMBER 16, 2024, AT THE ROYAL NATIONAL HOTEL, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, AND FOR THE PRIDE AND HONOR SHE BROUGHT TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, recognizes and values the achievements of its constituents who excel in their respective fields and bring honor and prestige to the municipality;
WHEREAS, Ms. Toni Almonte, a proud and talented daughter of Taytay, Rizal, was crowned Ms. Philippines Great Britain Earth 2024 during the Ms. Philippines Great Britain 2024 Pageant held on the November 16, 2024, at the Royal National Hotel, London, United Kingdom;
WHEREAS, aside from being among the prestigious Final 5, Ms. Almonte also received the following awards:
Special Awards: Miss Production Number and Miss Charity
Minor Award: Best in National Costume, wearing a Hamaka Costume made of indigenous “banig” material, representing Taytay’s thriving industries and showcasing the town’s rich heritage and craftsmanship
WHEREAS, Ms. Almonte’s achievement is a testament to her talent, perseverance, and dedication to promoting the culture, heritage, and artistry of the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal;
WHEREAS, her exemplary performance has brought immense pride, recognition, and honor to the people of Taytay, Rizal, deserving the highest commendation from the local government and her fellow constituents;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, to CONGRATULATE AND COMMEND MS. TONI ALMONTE FOR BEING CROWNED AS MS. PHILIPPINES GREAT BRITAIN EARTH 2024 AND FOR THE HONORS AND RECOGNITION SHE HAS BROUGHT TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to Ms. Toni Almonte as a gesture of the Municipality’s gratitude and appreciation for her outstanding representation of Taytay, Rizal, on the international stage.
ADOPTED, this 20th day of November 2024, 2:15 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
