Resolution No. 462 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION HUMBLY AND EARNESTLY REQUESTING HONORABLE CONGRESSMAN MICHAEL JOHN R. DUAVIT, RIZAL FIRST (1ST) DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE, TO GRANT ANY ASSISTANCE TO FIRE VICTIMS WHOSE HOUSES WERE TOTALLY DAMAGED BY THE FIRE INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED LAST SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 AT BLK 2 & 3 TULIP STREET, SITIO LAMBAK CREEKSIDE, HIGHWAY 2000, BARANGAY SAN JUAN, TAYTAY, RIZAL

WHEREAS, on early morning of September 3, 2024, a fire broke out at Blk 2 & 3 Tulip St., Sitio Lambak Creekside, Highway 2000, Barangay San Juan of this Municipality and based on the certificate issued by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, there were eleven (11) families and fifty-four (54) individuals were affected by the said fire;

WHEREAS, the said disaster had left the following families suffering from loss of their properties:

2. ONING, MARIBEL
3. MAYO, DANILO N.
4. SIGUA, JOANNE E.
5. BADANOY, AILENE
6. ESCANER, ANTONIO JR.
7. VISAYA, JELI ANNE R.
8. HOMBRE, ALEXANDRA G.
9. PUHAY, JONATHAN M.
10. ERO, JAMAICA
11. LNOERA, MIRIAM

WHEREAS, Section 447(1)(iv) of the Local Government Code, states that one of the functions of the Sangguniang Bayan is to “Adopt measures to protect the inhabitants of the municipality from the harmful effects of manmade or natural disasters and calamities and to provide relief services and assistance for victims during and in the aftermath of said disasters or calamities and their return to productive livelihood following said events”;

WHEREAS, the members of the 12th Sangguniang Bayan are humbly requesting to Honorable Michael John R. Duavit to grant any assistance to those fire victims, for them to be able to rebuild their houses and enable them to start a normal life again;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby HUMBLY AND EARNESTLY REQUESTS HONORABLE CONGRESSMAN MICHAEL JOHN R. DUAVIT, RIZAL FIRST (1ST) DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE, TO GRANT ANY ASSISTANCE TO FIRE VICTIMS WHOSE HOUSES WERE TOTALLY DAMAGED BY THE FIRE INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED LAST SEPTEMBER 3, 2024 AT BLK 2 & 3 TULIP STREET, SITIO LAMBAK CREEKSIDE, HIGHWAY 2000, BARANGAY SAN JUAN, TAYTAY, RIZAL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.

ADOPTED, this 4th day of September 2024, 1:58 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
