Resolution No. 348 series of 2023
APPROVING IN REVIEW AND DECLARING OPERATIVE, THE SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 2 SERIES OF 2023 INVOLVING THE AMOUNT OF TEN MILLION PESOS ONLY (PHP 10,000,000.00) AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF BARANGAY SAN JUAN UNDER SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 2 SERIES OF 2023
WHEREAS, pursuant to R.A. No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay as a Legislative body of the Municipality is empowered to review the supplemental appropriation of barangays in the manner prescribed by law;
WHEREAS, Administrative Order No. 12 dated December 7, 2023 was issued by the President of the Republic of the Philippines authorizing the grant of Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) to Government Employees for Fiscal Year 2023;
WHEREAS, an Ordinance Authorizing Supplemental Budget No. 2 series of 2023 involving the amount of Ten Million Pesos only (Php 10,000,000.00) and appropriating the necessary fund for the purpose was submitted to the Sangguniang Bayan for purposes of review;
WHEREAS, the Committee on Finance, Budget and Appropriation after reviewing Supplemental Budget No. 2 series of 2023 of Barangay San Juan recommends that it be declared Operative;
WHEREAS, Supplemental Budget No. 2 series of 2023 of Barangay San Juan is in conformity with existing budgetary rules and regulations in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991 and there is no impediment for the immediate approval thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby APPROVES IN REVIEW AND DECLARES OPERATIVE, THE SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 2 SERIES OF 2023 INVOLVING THE AMOUNT OF TEN MILLION PESOS ONLY (PHP 10,000,000.00) AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF BARANGAY SAN JUAN UNDER SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 2 SERIES OF 2023.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 20th day of December 2023, 2:25 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
