Resolution No. 496 series of 2024
A RESOLUTION APPROVING IN REVIEW THE BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 014 S. 2024 OF BARANGAY DOLORES
WHEREAS, Section 447 (a)(1)(i) of the Local Government Code states that the Sangguniang Bayan shall, “Review all ordinances approved by the Sangguniang Barangay and executive orders issued by the Punong Barangay to determine whether these are within the scope of the prescribed powers of the sanggunian and of the Punong Barangay”;
WHEREAS, the Barangay Secretary of Barangay Dolores submitted to the Sangguniang Bayan for review a copy of Barangay Ordinance No. 14 s. 2024 entitled: “An Ordinance Amending and Modifying the Codified Rates, Fees and Charges under Sections 4, 5, 5.1 and 5.4 of Ordinance No. 10 series of 2023 also known as the Revenue Code of Barangay Dolores 2023”;
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Ordinance has undergone the review of the Committee on Rules, Resolutions, and Ordinances to check on the merits of the pronouncement from the Barangay’s Local Government Unit;
WHEREAS, after a thorough discussion and deliberation, it was agreed upon by the Committee members to approve the said Ordinance as prescribed in the adopted Committee Report of the Committee on Rules, Resolutions, and Ordinances;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby APPROVES IN REVIEW THE BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 014 S. 2024 OF BARANGAY DOLORES.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution and the approved Committee Report of the Committee on Rules, Resolutions, and Ordinances be furnished to the Sangguniang Barangay concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 16th day of October 2024, 2:39 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
