A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RELOCATION OF SIMONA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND THE EVENTUAL ESTABLISHMENT OF SAN ISIDRO INTEGRATED SCHOOL
WHEREAS, Article XIV, Section 1 of the 1987 Constitution provides that “the State shall protect and promote the right of all citizens to quality education at all levels, and shall take appropriate steps to make such education accessible to all”;
WHEREAS, out of the approximately 1,800 square meters, where Simona National High School is currently located, only 804 sqm is being utilized by the school due to various soil hazards;
WHEREAS, there is a feasibility study conducted by the Simona National High School which shows the urgent need for the school campus’ relocation;
WHEREAS, there is a municipal-owned lot inside the St. Anthony Subdivision which is feasible for the relocation and establishment of San Isidro Integrated School;
WHEREAS, the relocation and establishment of San Isidro Integrated School will be greatly beneficial, not just to the students learning and improvement, but also to the faculty members as well;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby SUPPORTS THE RELOCATION OF SIMONA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND THE EVENTUAL ESTABLISHMENT OF SAN ISIDRO INTEGRATED SCHOOL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their information.
ADOPTED, this 18th day of September 2024, 3:21 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
