A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MUNICIPAL MAYOR, ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATOR, ATTY. ALDRICK DAVEN M. MENDOZA, MPA, MUNICIPAL TREASURER, HERLITO A. BASCO, AND MUNICIPAL VICE MAYOR, SOPHIA PRISCILLA L. CABRAL, TO SIGN FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, RIZAL, TIME DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS OPENED AND MAINTAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT WITH PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK – TAYTAY BRANCH, PARTICULARLY DESIGNATING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR OR MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATOR AND MUNICIPAL TREASURER AS SIGNATORIES FOR ACCOUNTS IN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH AND THE MUNICIPAL VICE MAYOR AND MUNICIPAL TREASURER AS SIGNATORIES FOR ACCOUNTS IN THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Taytay desires to open and maintain time deposit accounts with Philippine Veterans Bank - Taytay Branch;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 423, Series of 2024, the Municipal Mayor Hon. Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA, Vice Mayor Sophia Priscilla L. Cabral, Municipal Administrator Atty. Aldrick Daven M. Mendoza, MPA, and Municipal Treasurer Herlito A. Basco, were authorized to sign for and on behalf of the Municipal Government of Taytay, all warrants drawn with the account corresponding to the Executive and Legislative Department maintained by the Municipal Government of Taytay with Philippine Veterans Bank;
WHEREAS, in relation to the above-mentioned time deposit accounts, there is a need to particularly designate two (2) signatories for accounts in the executive branch, namely: Municipal Mayor, Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA or Municipal Administrator, Atty. Aldrick Daven M. Mendoza and Municipal Treasurer, Herlito A. Basco; and likewise particularly designate two (2) signatories for accounts in the legislative branch, namely: Municipal Vice Mayor, Sophia Priscilla L. Cabral, and the Municipal Treasurer, Herlito A. Basco;
WHEREAS, consistent with the goal of providing Serbisyong May Ngiti, the issuance of the Sangguniang Bayan Resolution to particularly designate the authorized signatories for the time deposit accounts with the Philippine Veterans Bank - Taytay Branch will further strengthen the mission of this Municipality to provide prompt and utmost public service to all its inhabitants;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby AUTHORIZES MUNICIPAL MAYOR, ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATOR, ATTY. ALDRICK DAVEN M. MENDOZA, MPA, MUNICIPAL TREASURER, HERLITO A. BASCO, AND MUNICIPAL VICE MAYOR, SOPHIA PRISCILLA L. CABRAL, TO SIGN FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, RIZAL, TIME DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS OPENED AND MAINTAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT WITH PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK – TAYTAY BRANCH, PARTICULARLY DESIGNATING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR OR MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATOR AND MUNICIPAL TREASURER AS SIGNATORIES FOR ACCOUNTS IN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH AND THE MUNICIPAL VICE MAYOR AND MUNICIPAL TREASURER AS SIGNATORIES FOR ACCOUNTS IN THE LEGISLATIVE BRANCH.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 2nd day of October 2024, 2:58 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
