A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND EXPRESSING GRATITUDE TO ALL BARANGAY HEALTH WORKERS WHO WERE RETIRED FROM SERVICE DUE TO AGE, DEMISE OR BECOME INCAPACITATED BY CHRONIC ILLNESS AND HUMBLY REQUESTING OUR LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO GRANT AN INCENTIVE AS A TOKEN OF AWARD FOR THEIR SACRIFICES AND DEDICATION
WHEREAS, under Republic Act 7883 states that “State shall protect and promote the right to health of the people and to provide conditions for health empowerment, where each individual has access to information and services that will bring about health and well-being”;
WHEREAS, as provided in the Magna Carta of Public Health Workers, the State shall instill health consciousness among our people to effectively carry out the health programs and projects of the government essential to the growth and health of the nation;
WHEREAS, it also stated in the said magna carta that any government entity whose primary function according to its legal mandate is to delivery of health services and the operation of health centers, rural health units, barangay health stations, clinics or other institutional forms to render health services to the public;
WHEREAS, Barangay Health Workers play a vital role in the health care system as they act as community organizers, educators, and primary healthcare service providers in the community and they are at the forefront of the delivery of healthcare services at the grassroots level;
WHEREAS, Barangay Health Workers are primarily engaged to health services that may risks their own health especially during pandemics being the frontliners in the healthcare system;
WHEREAS, every Barangay Health Workers were the first responders in every community as they work voluntary in nature but do their duties untiringly and dedicate themselves to their service;
WHEREAS, the members of the Sangguniang Bayan are humbly requesting our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA, to grant any kind of incentive to the 31 Barangay Health Workers who retired from service due to their age, demise or incapacitated by chronic illness;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby RECOGNIZES AND EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO ALL BARANGAY HEALTH WORKERS WHO WERE RETIRED FROM SERVICE DUE TO AGE, DEMISE OR BECOME INCAPACITATED BY CHRONIC ILLNESS AND HUMBLY REQUESTS OUR LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO GRANT AN INCENTIVE AS A TOKEN OF AWARD FOR THEIR SACRIFICES AND DEDICATION.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution shall be furnished and forwarded to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 6th day of December 2024, 2:22 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
