Resolution No. 307 series of 2023

A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEVERAL SCHOOL BUILDINGS IN TAYTAY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

WHEREAS, the administration of Taytay National High School is seeking for assistance from the Local Government for the replacement of the three (3) dilapidated buildings specifically the 3-Room 1-Storey DepEd Building constructed in 2011, the 10-Room 2-Storey Maceda Building erected in 1996, and the 3-Room 1-Storey Ynares Building built in 1995;

WHEREAS, based on the inspection of the Municipal Engineering Office, portions of the walls and posts of some of the old classrooms have deteriorated, some connections between the concrete walls were already damaged, slack was noted in some center beams of the DepEd Building, wooden trusses were already eaten by termites, and the wooden floors were also evidently damaged;

WHEREAS, the Principal affirmed that the concerned government agencies of each school building have recommended the demolition of the said buildings to give way for the future construction of new school buildings in Taytay National High School to address the growing population of the said school;

WHEREAS, replacing the three old dilapidated buildings with new ones with bigger capacity will be greatly beneficial for the students’ comfortable learning as well as for the faculty members and staff’s conducive work environment;

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Taytay has insufficient funds to provide the necessary amenities needed by the school, thus needing the assistance of the Provincial Government in addressing the said request;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES TO ALLOCATE FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SEVERAL SCHOOL BUILDINGS IN TAYTAY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution and other attachments be furnished to the Office of the Honorable Governor of Rizal, the Administration of Taytay National High School and all concerned for their information and consideration.

ADOPTED, this 18th day of October 2023, 6:21 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
