Resolution No. 450 series of 2024
A RESOLUTION APPROVING IN REVIEW THE BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 6 SERIES OF 2024 OF BARANGAY MUZON
WHEREAS, Section 447 (a)(l)(i) of the Local Government Code states that the Sangguniang Bayan shall, “Review all ordinances approved by the Sangguniang Barangay and executive orders issued by the Punong Barangay to determine whether these are within the scope of the prescribed powers of the sanggunian and of the Punong Barangay”;
WHEREAS, the Office of Punong Barangay of Barangay Muzon submitted to the Sangguniang Bayan for review a copy of Barangay Ordinance #6 s. 2024 entitled: “A Barangay Ordinance Establishing the Persons with Disability (PWD) Desk in Barangay Muzon, Taytay, Rizal, and Appropriating Funds Thereof”;
WHEREAS, the aforementioned statute has undergone the review of the Committee on Rules, Resolutions, and Ordinances to check on the merits of the pronouncement from the Barangay’s Local Government Unit;
WHEREAS, after a thorough discussion and deliberation, it was agreed upon by the Committee members to approve the said ordinance as prescribed in the adopted Committee Report of the Committee on Rules, Resolutions, and Ordinances;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby APPROVES IN REVIEW THE BARANGAY ORDINANCE NO. 6 S. OF 2024 OF BARANGAY MUZON.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution and the approved Committee Report of the Committee on Rules, Resolutions, and Ordinances be furnished to the Sangguniang Barangay concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 26th day of July 2024, 2:52 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
