A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING OFW RAMON B. DISTOR JR. & FAMILY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL FOR BEING A REGIONAL FINALIST IN THE 2023 MODEL OFW FAMILY OF THE YEAR AWARDS (LANDBASED CATEGORY)
WHEREAS, the Model OFW Family of the Year Awards is an award that celebrates and honors the achievements and sacrifices of the Overseas Filipino Workers and their families given by the Department of Migrant Workers Overseas Workers Welfare Administration;
WHEREAS, Mr. Ramon B. Distor Jr., an OFW and his family residing in Taytay, Rizal was nominated for the Landbased Category of the 2023 Model OFW Family of the Year Awards – Region IV-A;
WHEREAS, in the recently concluded Regional Awarding Ceremony held last November 13, 2023 at the White House Events Place, Calamba City, Laguna, Mr. Distor Jr. and his family was one of the Regional Finalist;
WHEREAS, the Sanggunian finds Mr. Distor Jr. and his family worth recognizing for their invaluable contribution and involvement in their community in the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session hereby assembled, to RECOGNIZE OFW RAMON B. DISTOR JR. & FAMILY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL FOR BEING A REGIONAL FINALIST IN THE 2023 MODEL OFW FAMILY OF THE YEAR AWARDS (LANDBASED CATEGORY).
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished and forwarded to all concerned for their information and perusal.
ADOPTED, this 15th day of November 2023, 3:13 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
