Resolution No. 466 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO ACCEPT DONATION OF RESCUE VEHICLE AND POLICE PATROL VEHICLE, FROM THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF RIZAL THROUGH THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES, FOR THE USE OF TAYTAYEÑOS, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

WHEREAS, Section 444(b)(I)(vi) of Republic Act (“R.A.”) No. 7160, also known as the Local Government Code mandates that, “[u]pon authorization by the sangguniang bayan, represent the municipality in all its business transactions and sign on its behalf all bonds, contracts, and obligations, and such other documents made pursuant to law or ordinance”;

WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Rizal regularly donates various assets, including but not limited to rescue vehicle and a police patrol vehicle to be used by Taytayeños especially during times of calamities. These rescue vehicle and police patrol vehicle have the following details, to wit:

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Taytay acknowledging the necessity of additional resources for the benefit of its constituents, accepts and greatly appreciates the donations of the Provincial Government of Rizal;

WHEREAS, consistent with the goal of providing Serbisyong May Ngiti to all Taytayeños, the acceptance of donation is necessary;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, to AUTHORIZE THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO ACCEPT DONATION OF ASSETS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RESCUE VEHICLE AND POLICE PATROL VEHICLE, FROM THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF RIZAL THROUGH THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES, FOR THE USE OF TAYTAYEÑOS, IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, and all concerned offices in the Municipal Government of Taytay.

ADOPTED, this 11th day of September 2024, 5:39 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
