A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO SIGN FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (ECCDC) REPRESENTED BY DR. TERESITA G. INCIONG, VICE CHAIRPERSON AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER (NCDC) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL
WHEREAS, the ECCDC is duly mandated in accordance with Republic Act 10410 (Early Years Act) to institutionalize a National System for Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) that is comprehensive, integrative and sustainable that will involve multi-sectoral and inter-agency collaboration at the national and local levels to promote the optimum growth and development of Filipino children ages zero (0) to four (4) years;
WHEREAS, in pursuance of the above mandate, the ECCDC aims to further enhance the provision of quality home-based and center-based ECCD programs in partnership with stakeholders;
WHEREAS, the ECCDC intends to establish National Child Development Centers (NCDCs) including the provision of contents and teacher to serve as its laboratory of the different modes of delivery of center-based ECCD programs;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby AUTHORIZES HONORABLE MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO SIGN FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (ECCDC) REPRESENTED BY DR. TERESITA G. INCIONG, VICE CHAIRPERSON AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER (NCDC) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to all concerned for their information and guidance.
ADOPTED, this 5th day of March 2025, 2:07 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
