A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE LOCAL NUTRITION ACTION PLAN (LNAP) 2023-2025 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan recognizes the crucial role of nutrition in the overall health and development of the residents of Taytay, Rizal;
WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Taytay is committed to promoting and implementing programs and initiatives that address the nutritional needs and challenges of the community;
WHEREAS, the Local Nutrition Action Plan (LNAP) serves as a comprehensive framework to guide the Municipality in achieving its nutrition-related goals and objectives;
WHEREAS, the LNAP 2023-2025 has been carefully developed, taking into consideration the findings of nutrition assessments, consultations with stakeholders, and the prevailing nutritional needs and priorities of the community.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, THAT THE LOCAL NUTRITION ACTION PLAN (LNAP) 2023-2025 IS HEREBY ADOPTED AS THE GUIDING DOCUMENT FOR NUTRITION-RELATED INITIATIVES AND PROGRAMS IN THE MUNICIPALITY.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Sangguniang Bayan shall integrate the goals, strategies, and activities of the LNAP 2023-2025 into the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP), Local Development Investment Program (LDIP), and Annual Investment Program (AIP) of the Municipality.
RESOLVED FUETHERMORE, that this integration shall be carried out by the appropriate offices and committees responsible for the formulation and updating of the CDP, LDIP, and AIP, ensuring that the nutrition-related initiatives are aligned with the overall development priorities of the Municipality.
RESOLVED FURTHERMOST, that a copy of the LNAP 2023-2025 shall be archived in the Records Section of the SB Secretariat Office.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution shall be disseminated to all concerned departments, offices, and stakeholders, and the LNAP 2023-2025 shall be made readily available to the public for their information and guidance.
ADOPTED, this 13th day of March 2024, 3:36 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
