Resolution No. 480 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE MERGING OF ALL MUZON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUSES INTO ONE CONSOLIDATED CAMPUS

WHEREAS, Article XIV, Section 1 of the 1987 Constitution provides that “the State shall protect and promote the right of all citizens to quality education at all levels, and shall take appropriate steps to make such education accessible to all”;

WHEREAS, Muzon National High School, which caters to approximately 2,414 students currently operates across four separate campuses: Ciudad Grande Campus, San Miguel Compound Campus, Brgy. Muzon Talipapa Campus, with 4 classrooms lent by Muzon Elementary School to be utilized by the high school students;

WHEREAS, the classrooms which are scattered on different subdivisions and places have caused several inconveniences not just to the students and parents, but also to the faculty members who are having a hard time going back and forth across the campuses to fulfill their duties;

WHEREAS, there is a government-owned lot situated at Ramos Compound, Barangay Muzon which will be feasible for the relocation and merging of the school campuses of Muzon National High School;

WHEREAS, the relocation and merging of all campuses of Muzon National High School will be greatly beneficial, not just to the students learning and improvement, but also to the faculty members, parents, schools administration and the identity of the whole school as well;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby SUPPORTS THE MERGING OF ALL MUZON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUSES INTO ONE CONSOLIDATED CAMPUS.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their information.

ADOPTED, this 18th day of September 2024, 3:22 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
