Resolution No. 445 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING CASIMIRO A. YNARES SR., MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL’S OFFICIAL PUBLICATION ‘THE ECHOES’ FOR PLACING 3RD AT THE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY SECTION OF THE SCHOOL PAPER CATEGORY DURING THE NATIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE 2024 AND REQUESTING THE HONORABLE MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON FOR INCENTIVES OF OUR STUDENT JOURNALISTS

WHEREAS, in accordance with Republic Act 7079, also known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, which supports the expansion and improvement of campus media, the annual National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) was organized;

WHEREAS, the 2023 NSPC, themed “Galing, Talino, at Husay ng mga Batang Makabansa sa Diwa ng MATATAG na Adhika,” which took place in Carcar City, Cebu, gathered campus journalists from all over the Philippines to compete in various categories;
WHEREAS, Casimiro A. Ynares, Sr. Memorial National High School’s The Echoes, the official English publication of CAYS, placed 3rd at the Science and Technology Section of the School Paper Category, under the supervision of their school head, Mr. Michael A. Garrovillas; and their advisers, Ms. Joy M. Avelino and Ma. Milkee Kristene Cruz;

WHEREAS, The Echoes student-journalists and their advisers have brought pride and honor not just to the Municipality of Taytay but to the Province of Rizal as well, thus deserving this commendation and incentives;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby COMMENDS AND CONGRATULATES CASIMIRO A. YNARES SR., MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL’S OFFICIAL PUBLICATION ‘THE ECHOES’ FOR PLACING 3RD AT THE SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY SECTION OF THE SCHOOL PAPER CATEGORY DURING THE NATIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE 2024 AND REQUESTS THE HONORABLE MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON FOR INCENTIVES OF OUR STUDENT JOURNALISTS.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their information.

ADOPTED, this 26th day of July 2024, 2:50 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
