Ordinance No. 839 series of 2025
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING DISCOUNT SUBSIDY ON MAYOR’S PERMIT FEE AND ARTICULATING OTHER REGULATORY FEES AS BASIS OF SUBSIDY FOR THE GARMENTS PRODUCERS / TIANGGE INDUSTRY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act 7160) empowers local government units to create measures that promote general welfare, including support for local industries and enterprises;
WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Taytay under the administration of Hon. Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon and the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay constantly endeavors to augment the needs of the Garments producers that is among the leading industry in the Municipality;
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the local government to create a business-friendly environment that fosters inclusive economic recovery and development, especially for small-scale entrepreneurs and micro-industries such as garments producers and tiangge operators;
WHEREAS, in light of the economic challenges faced by these industries, there is a need to extend financial assistance by granting subsidies on the Mayor’s Permit fee and other regulatory fees to ease their operational costs and promote sustainable business growth;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, that:
Section 1. Discounts / Subsidy and Adjustments – Parts of Ordinance 607 series of 2017: “Revising the Revenue Code of the Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal”, are amended as follows:
Section 17. II Operators / Owners of the following wholesale / retail establishment.
43. General Merchandise Store / Mayor’s Permit
43.3 Class C 50,001 – 150,000 Capital (less 50% discount from 1,100)
RTW 550.00/stall
43.4 Class D 10,000 – 50,000 Capital (less 50% discount from 550)
RTW 275.00/stall
Chapter IV Article D. Sanitary Inspection Fee
Section 102. 1 Residential Establishments
RTW business per establishment (Tiangge)
Regardless of number of stalls per establishment (from 200) 100.00
Chapter V Article D. Service Charges for Garbage Collection
Section 128. Imposition of Fee – Commercial / Service Establishments
RTW per business establishment (from 300) 0.00
RTW lessors, shall be classified under
Private Market/Tiangge Operations 2,500.00
SECTION 2. Repealing Clause - All existing Ordinances of this Municipality which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed, revised, amended or modified accordingly.
SECTION 3. Effectivity Clause – This Ordinance shall take effect immediate upon approval and after posting in conspicuous areas within the Municipality.
ENACTED, this 15th day of January 2025, 2:55 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
