A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MUNICIPAL MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE <br />
S. DE LEON, MPA TO NEGOTIATE, SIGN AND ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK (PVB) - TAYTAY BRANCH REGARDING PVB'S ALLOCATION OF AUTOMATED PAYROLL FACILITY AND SERVICES RELATED TO THE USE OF THE AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE (ATM) CARD UNDER THE ATM PAYROLL ACCOUNT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL
WHEREAS, as part of and in pursuit of Philippines Veterans Bank’s (“PVB") banking business and operations, it offers cash management facilities, including payroll facility and services to its clients;
WHEREAS, the PVB has offered to provide the Municipal Government of Taytay, Province of Rizal (“Municipal Government”) with automated payroll facility and services with the use of an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card under an ATM Payroll account (“Payroll Facility and Service Agreement”);
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government finds the proposed Payroll Facility and Service Agreement to be beneficial to its Job Order (“JO”) Contractees and will improve their current working conditions;
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government wishes to avail of the systematized payroll services of PVB under the Payroll Facility and Service Agreement to provide its JO Contractees with an efficient and secure model of withdrawing their salaries and wages;
WHEREAS, consistent with the goal of providing Serbisyong May Ngiti to all Taytayeños, the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with PVB in relation to the Payroll Facility and Service Agreement will strengthen the mission of this Municipal Government to improve the needs of its constituents;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, to AUTHORIZE MUNICIPAL MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA TO NEGOTIATE, SIGN AND ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK (PVB) - TAYTAY BRANCH REGARDING PVB'S ALLOCATION OF AUTOMATED PAYROLL FACILITY AND SERVICES RELATED TO THE USE OF THE AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE (ATM) CARD UNDER THE ATM PAYROLL ACCOUNT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the duly signed Memorandum of Agreement between the Municipal Government of Taytay, Rizal and Philippine Veterans Bank be ratified first by the Sangguniang Bayan before its full implementation.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
