A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) CY 2025 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY AMOUNTING TO FIVE BILLION FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE MILLION ONE HUNDRED SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR PESOS AND EIGHT CENTAVOS (P 5,483,107,454.08) AND RATIFYING THE TAYTAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (TDC) RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - 007
WHEREAS, Section 16 of the General Welfare Clause of RA 7160 provides in part that every local government unit shall exercise powers necessary for its efficient and effective governance and those which are essential to the promotion of the general welfare;
WHEREAS, Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that each Local Government Unit shall have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to be initiated by its development council and approved by the Sangguniang Bayan;
WHEREAS, the Taytay Development Council (TDC) shall assist the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) in setting the direction of development effort within the municipality;
WHEREAS, the Annual Investment Program (AIP) is the annual slice of the Local Development Investment Plan/ Executive-Legislative Agenda (LDIP/ELA), referring to the indicative yearly expenditure requirements of the LGUs' programs, projects and activities (PPAs) to be integrated into the annual budget;
WHEREAS, there is a need for the formulation of Annual Investment Program (AIP) CY 2025 for the development of this municipality in terms of social, economic, human and ecological security, education and infrastructure;
WHEREAS, after thorough deliberation, the members of the Taytay Development Council (TDC) approved the Annual Investment Program (AIP) CY 2025 upon the motion of Punong Barangay Jean Lalaine P. Calderon duly seconded by Punong Barangay Reinier Andrew S. Pacleb, and recommend such to the Sangguniang Bayan for adoption;
WHEREAS, the Annual Investment Program (AIP) CY 2025 has a total amount of Five Billion Four Hundred Eighty-Three Million One Hundred Seven Thousand Four Hundred Fifty- Four Pesos and Eight Centavos (P 5,483,107,454.08) with detailed summary, to wit:
GENERAL PUBLIC SERVICES 2,245,756,790.60
SOCIAL SERVICES 1,642,770,347.96
ECONOMICS SERVICES 1,449,654,023.52
OTHER SERVICES 144,926,292,00
TOTAL 5,483,107,454.08
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby APPROVES THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) CY 2025 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY AMOUNTING TO FIVE BILLION FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE MILLION ONE HUNDRED SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR PESOS AND EIGHT CENTAVOS (P 5,483,107,454.08) AND RATIFIES THE TAYTAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (TDC) RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - 007.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
