Resolution No. 431 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING HON. YEDDA MARIE ROMUALDEZ AND HON. JUDE A. ACIDRE, MEMBERS OF HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF TINGOG PARTYLIST, TO GIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE MINIMUM WAGE EARNERS TO THE RESIDENTS OF TAYTAY, RIZAL

WHEREAS, as per Section 16 of the Local Government Code of 1991, every local government unit shall exercise the powers expressly granted, those necessarily implied therefrom, as well as powers necessary, appropriate or incidental, for its efficient and effective governance and are essential to the promotion of the general welfare;

WHEREAS, we are requesting the Hon. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Hon. Jude A. Acidre to help Taytayeños demonstrate the administration’s efforts to ensure that every Filipino, regardless of social standing, can receive assistance from our government;

WHEREAS, the Tingog Partylist through Hon. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Hon. Jude A. Acidre will help to provide a program with the purpose of granting assistance to the Taytayeños who are considered minimum wage earners, poor, near poor, and those in the informal economy, which will also serve as a protection for those who are affected by the ever-changing economy;

WHEREAS, we believe that this program is a major step to ease the burden on needy families amid the ever-increasing prices of commodities and other daily necessities and also, to provide immediate and concrete assistance to our Taytayeños in dire need to help them improve their condition;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS HON. YEDDA MARIE ROMUALDEZ AND HON. JUDE A. ACIDRE, MEMBERS OF HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF TINGOG PARTYLIST, TO GIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE MINIMUM WAGE EARNERS TO THE RESIDENTS OF TAYTAY, RIZAL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.

ADOPTED, this 10th day of July 2024, 3:50 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
