Resolution No. 590 series of 2025

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MUNICIPAL ASSESSOR OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE PROVINCIAL ASSESSOR, TO ISSUE A TAX DECLARATION OVER THE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN SAPANG PUTOL CREEK, BARANGAY STA. ANA, MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL AND FOR OTHER PUPROSES

WHEREAS, Section 16 of Republic Act (“R.A.”) No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, states that, “[e]very local government unit shall exercise the power expressly granted, those necessarily implied therefrom, as well as powers necessary, appropriate, or incidental for its efficient and effective governance, and those which are essential to the promotion of the general welfare”;

WHEREAS, the subject parcel of land with an area of 4,873 sqm. is a portion of Sapang Putol Creek situated at Ejercito Avenue, Barangay Sta. Ana, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal, which was previously part of Taytay River, and was subsequently declared as a dry creek, pursuant to the Cadastral Plan issued by the Bureau of Lands;

WHEREAS, the subject parcel of land is proposed by the Municipal Government of Taytay to be utilized for establishment of government facilities for the benefit of its constituents;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Taytay already obtained the required Barangay Certification, Alienable and Disposable Certification from the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, necessary for the issuance of Tax Declaration over the subject parcel of land;

WHEREAS, the issuance of a Sangguniang Bayan Resolution requesting the Municipal Assessors to issue a tax declaration, with the approval of the Provincial Assessor, over the subject parcel of land, is one of the requirements for the issuance of said tax declaration;

WHEREAS, in order to properly perform the duties of the Municipal Government enshrining the principle of Serbisyong May Ngiti, the issuance of this Resolution is necessary;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, to REQUEST THE MUNICIPAL ASSESSOR OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE PROVINCIAL ASSESSOR, TO ISSUE A TAX DECLARATION OVER THE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN SAPANG PUTOL CREEK, BARANGAY STA. ANA, MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL AND FOR OTHER PUPROSES.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, and all concerned offices in the Municipal Government of Taytay.

ADOPTED, this 10th day of April 2025, 2:26 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
