Resolution No. 404 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR ACCREDITATION OF SIX (6) CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSO) SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS, RULES & REGULATIONS ON THE MATTER

WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Section 34 of the Local Government Code provides the role of People’s Organization and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) stating that the Local Government Unit (LGU) shall promote the establishment and operation of people’s organization and non-governmental organization to become partners in the pursuit of local autonomy;

WHEREAS, Rule XIII, Article 64 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides for the procedures and guidelines for the selection of representatives of people’s organization, non-governmental organizations, or the private sector in local special bodies;

WHEREAS, Memorandum Circular No. 2022 - 083 of the Department of the Interior and Local Government provides for the guidelines on the accreditation and selection of people’s organization, non-governmental organization and the private sector who are duly organized and existing and operating in the Municipality of Taytay;

WHEREAS, submitted to the Committee on Accreditation are additional CSO applications for Accreditation; the necessary requirements to secure accreditation set forth by the above-stated Memorandum Circular were satisfactorily complied with;

WHEREAS, accreditation is hereby granted to the following CSO’s:
 PINESVILLE LOWER-UPPER HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION (PLUHA) INC.
 BUKLOD MAGKAKABALIKAT ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED
 LUZON ECO TRANSPORT MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE (LETS-MPC)
 CECNA-CAMIA E. MATEO CREEKSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED
 SAGIP KABABAIHAN PARA SA KABUHAYAN AT KAGALINGAN INCORPORATED (SAGIP-KA)
 JORIC VILLE PUROK 8 NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby grants and APPROVES THE APPLICATION FOR ACCREDITATION OF SIX (6) CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (CSO) SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS, RULES & REGULATIONS ON THE MATTER.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that all accredited CSOs submit copies of their documents to the Municipal Planning and Development Office for records and documentation. Non-compliance authorizes the revocation of granted accreditation.

ADOPTED, this 8th day of May 2024, 3:10 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
