Resolution No. 363 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND RECOGNIZING MR. JUDE GABRIEL FRANCISCO, WINNER OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSIP 2024: CYCLING ROAD RACE UNDER 23 CATEGORY – GOLD MEDAL, CYCLING CRITERIUM UNDER 23 CATEGORY – BRONZE MEDAL, AND THE ILOILO DINAGYANG CRITERIUM RACE 2024 – 1ST PLACE, GIVING PRIDE TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL

WHEREAS, the Integrated Cycling Federation of the Philippines (PhilCycling) is the national governing body for cycling as a sport in the Philippines, duly recognized by the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Olympic Committee and the International Cycling Union;

WHEREAS, last February 5-9, 2024, PhilCycling held the Philippine National Championship 2024 in Tagaytay City, where Mr. Jude Gabriel Francisco, bagged medals in two (2) categories;

WHEREAS, Mr. Francisco, a resident of E.I. Cruz St., Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal, have won the Gold Medal in the Road Race Under-23 Category and the Bronze Medal in the Criterium Under-23 Category in the Philippine National Championship 2024;

WHEREAS, Mr. Francisco also bagged the 1st Place in the recently concluded Iloilo Criterium Race 2024 held last January 2024;

WHEREAS, the achievements of Mr. Francisco have brought pride and honor to the Municipality, thus deserve this commendation;

WHEREAS, as member of the 7-Eleven Road Bike Philippines, Jude Gabriel Francisco also joined the Dinagyang Criterium held in Iloilo City last January 2024, where he snatched the championship title amongst other renowned cyclist in the country;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby CONGRATULATES AND RECOGNIZES MR. JUDE GABRIEL FRANCISCO, WINNER OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSIP 2024: CYCLING ROAD RACE UNDER 23 CATEGORY – GOLD MEDAL, CYCLING CRITERIUM UNDER 23 CATEGORY – BRONZE MEDAL, AND THE ILOILO DINAGYANG CRITERIUM RACE 2024 – 1ST PLACE, GIVING PRIDE TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to send copies of this Resolution to all concerned agencies and offices for their appropriate action and consideration.

ADOPTED, this 14th day of February 2024, 2:37 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
