Resolution No. 360 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING PROFOUND GRATITUDE TO SENATOR LAWRENCE “BONG” GO AND TO FORMER PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TAYTAY SPORTS COMPLEX

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal is fortunate that the request made to Senator Lawrence “Bong” Go and former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for the construction of the Taytay Sports Complex was granted and acted upon favorably;

WHEREAS, through their kindness and magnanimity, the place that was once considered and treated as a dumpsite in our municipality was transformed and is now emerging as the venue for sports and a destination for sports enthusiast not only in Taytay, but also in the nearby towns of Rizal;

WHEREAS, although construction of the Taytay Sports Complex is still ongoing, it is now currently enjoyed by the people who perform their daily exercise and other physical regiments to keep and improve their health;

WHEREAS, the completion of the Taytay Sports Complex will further show and enhance the benefits that it will ultimately bring to our municipality;

WHEREAS, it is but proper that the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal show their appreciation and gratitude to Senator Bong Go and former President Rodrigo Duterte for their kindness in making its construction possible by providing the needed funds therefor;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, and in behalf of the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal, to EXTEND THEIR GRATITUDE, APPRECIATION AND RECOGNITION TO SENATOR LAWRENCE “BONG” GO AND FORMER PRESIDENT RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE FOR THEIR KINDNESS AND SERVICE TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL BY MAKING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TAYTAY SPORTS COMPLEX POSSIBLE AND WISHES THEM WELL IN ALL THEIR FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished and forwarded to all concerned for their information.

ADOPTED, this 7th day of February 2024, 3:07 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
