Resolution No. 406 series of 2024
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, REPRESENTED BY HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA AND PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK REPRESENTED BY ITS BRANCH MANAGER MS. ALMA B. VALDEZ, FOR THE SALARY LOAN PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal (“LGUTaytay”) has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with the Philippine Veterans Bank (“BANK”) through Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 261 entitled, “A Resolution Authorizing the Municipal Mayor Allan Martines S. De Leon, MPA, to sign and enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Philippine Veterans Bank represented by its Branch Manager Ms. Alma B. Valdez, for the Salary Loan Program”;
WHEREAS, the BANK offers a Salary Loan Program to qualified employees of LGU-Taytay, and the latter has accepted the offer subject to the terms and conditions thereof;
WHEREAS, consistent with the goal of providing Serbisyong May Ngiti, the ratification of said MOA will strengthen the mission of LGU-Taytay to provide assistance to its employees for the improvement of their living conditions;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan deems it proper to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement that was signed last 15 January 2024 by LGU-Taytay and the Bank through their respective representatives;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby RATIFIES THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, REPRESENTED BY HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA AND PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK REPRESENTED BY ITS BRANCH MANAGER MS. ALMA B. VALDEZ, FOR THE SALARY LOAN PROGRAM.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 22nd day of May 2024, 2:26 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
