AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 818, SERIES OF 2024 ENTITLED: “AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND AUTHORIZING THE LOCAL IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FIRST TRANCHE OF THE MODIFIED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL PURSUANT TO DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT (DBM) LOCAL BUDGET CIRCULAR NO. 160 S. 2024, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES”
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan issued Ordinance No. 818, Series of 2024 on 29 August 2024 which adopted and authorized the local implementation of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Local Budget Circular No. 160, Series of 2024 pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) No. 64, Series of 2024;
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the Section 4 thereof regarding the Salary Schedule and Implementation provided in the Sangguniang Bayan Ordinance No. 818 series of 2024 to be compliant to the above-mentioned circular;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, that:
Section 1. Section 4 of Sangguniang Bayan Ordinance No. 818, Series of 2024 is hereby amended as follows:

Section 4. Salary Schedule and Implementation - The 1st tranche of the modified salary schedule will be effective on 01 September 2024 in accordance with the provisions of the circular.

Section 2. Separability Clause - If for any reason, any section or provision of this Ordinance shall be declared to be unconstitutional or invalid by competent authority, such declaration shall not affect or impair the other sections or provisions not affected thereby.
Section 3. Repealing Clause - All ordinances, rules and regulations, or part thereof, in conflict with, or inconsistent with any provision of this Ordinance are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
Section 4. Effectivity Clause - This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval hereof.
