Resolution No. 476 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION CONDEMNING IN THE STRONGEST TERMS POSSIBLE THE SENSELESS KILLING OF RYLAI KAYE BARRUN AND CALLING FOR THE LOCAL COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHIDLDREN (LCPC) TO CONVENE AND FORMULATE ADDITIONAL MEASURES TO ENSURE ENHANCED PUBLIC SAFETY ESPECIALLY AMONG CHILDREN

WHEREAS, Rylai Kaye Barrun, 8 years of age, is a resident of ABNAI Lupang Arenda in Barangay Sta. Ana reported missing last September 11 and was found dead on September 13, 2024;

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal stands in solidarity and sending its deepest condolences to the family of the victim and calls the authorities to render a swift action to put the perpetrator/s to justice;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang likewise condemns this senseless act of violence which has no place in the Municipality of Taytay;

WHEREAS, this august body also requests the Local Council for the Protection of Children to convene and formulate additional measures and recommendations to ensure enhanced public safety, especially among children;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby CONDEMNS IN THE STRONGEST TERMS POSSIBLE THE SENSELESS KILLING OF RYLAI KAYE BARRUN AND CALLS FOR THE LOCAL COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHIDLDREN (LCPC) TO CONVENE AND FORMULATE ADDITIONAL MEASURES TO ENSURE ENHANCED PUBLIC SAFETY ESPECIALLY AMONG CHILDREN.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to all associated offices and parties concerned for their information and appropriate action.

ADOPTED, this 18th day of September 2024, 3:20 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
