A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE LATE HON. SILVINO “SERVING” STA. ANA DE LEON (FEBRUARY 17, 1936 - JULY 13, 2008) AS A MUSIC COMPOSER, CHURCH WORKER AND PUBLIC SERVANT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL
WHEREAS, Hon. Silvino Sta. Ana De Leon is a distinguished and talented music composer who has enriched the cultural landscape not only in Taytay, Rizal but in the Province of Rizal and beyond through his artistic contributions, with numerous compositions that have reflected the religiosity, aspirations, and spirit of the community, these songs and hymns are as follows:

WHEREAS, in addition to his contributions to the field of music, Maestro Serving De Leon has served as a dedicated former Municipal Councilor from January 1, 1972 up to October 3, 1979 and as the Municipal Vice Mayor from January 3, 1980 up to March 24, 1986 for the municipality, providing exemplary leadership, vision, and service to improve the welfare of the residents and progress of this municipality;
WHEREAS, the creations of Ka Serving’s works have not only entertained but also inspired countless individuals across all walks of life, transcending boundaries and fostering a deep sense of pride and unity in the community;
WHEREAS, Hon. De Leon’s dedication to public service and passion for music exemplifies the values of hard work, integrity, and commitment to the betterment of society;
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Taytay under Mayor Allan De Leon and the 12th Sangguniang Bayan recognizes the importance of honoring those whose artistic and civic contributions significantly shape the identity and future of the municipality of Taytay, Rizal;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby RECOGNIZES THE OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE LATE HON. SILVINO “SERVING” STA. ANA DE LEON (FEBRUARY 17, 1936 - JULY 13, 2008) AS A MUSIC COMPOSER, CHURCH WORKER AND PUBLIC SERVANT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this Resolution be presented to the family of the late Hon. Silvino Sta. Ana De Leon.
ADOPTED, this 12th day of February 2025, 4:42 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
