Resolution No. 460 series of 2024
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO ACCEPT DONATIONS OF ASSETS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AMBULANCES AND OTHER FOUR-WHEELED VEHICLES, FROM THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF RIZAL THROUGH THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES, FOR THE USE OF TAYTAYEÑOS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Section 444(b)(1)(vi) of R.A. No. 7160, or the Local Government Code provides that the Municipal Mayor, upon authorization by the Sangguniang Bayan, may represent the municipality in all its business transactions and sign on its behalf all bonds, contracts, and obligations, and such other documents made pursuant to law or ordinance;
WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Rizal regularly donates various assets, including but not limited to ambulances and other four-wheeled vehicles, to be used by Taytayeños, especially during times of calamities;
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Taytay acknowledging the necessity of additional resources for the benefit of its constituents, accepts and greatly appreciates the donations of the Provincial Government of Rizal;
WHEREAS, in order to properly perform the duties of the Municipal Government enshrining the principle of Serbisyong May Ngiti, the acceptance of a donation is necessary;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby AUTHORIZES THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO ACCEPT DONATIONS OF ASSETS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO AMBULANCES AND OTHER FOUR-WHEELED VEHICLES, FROM THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF RIZAL THROUGH THE HONORABLE GOVERNOR NINA RICCI YNARES, FOR THE USE OF TAYTAYEÑOS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the Office of the Municipal Mayor, and all concerned offices in the Municipal Government of Taytay for their information.
ADOPTED, this 28th day of August 2024, 2:47 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
