A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY REPRESENTED BY THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON AND THE PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK REPRESENTED BY MS. ROWENA B. NUYDA FOR THE AUTOMATED PAYROLL FACILITY AND SERVICES RELATED TO THE USE OF THE AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE CARD UNDER THE ATM PAYROLL ACCOUNT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL
WHEREAS, the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay had passed Resolution No. 295 series of 2023 entitled: “A Resolution Authorizing Municipal Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA to negotiate, sign and enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) with the Philippine Veterans Bank (“PVB”) – Taytay Branch regarding PVB’s allocation of automated payroll facility and services related to the use of the Automated Teller Machine (“ATM”) card under the ATM payroll account of the Municipal Government of Taytay, Province of Rizal”;
WHEREAS, the MOA between the Municipality of Taytay and PVB was signed and notarized on January 8, 2024;
WHEREAS, the ratification of the MOA will benefit the Job Order (“JO”) Contractees of the Municipal Government of Taytay as this promotes convenience to JO Contractees by improved and efficient salary collection;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby RATIFIES THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY REPRESENTED BY THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR HON. ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON AND THE PHILIPPINE VETERANS BANK REPRESENTED BY MS. ROWENA B. NUYDA FOR THE AUTOMATED PAYROLL FACILITY AND SERVICES RELATED TO THE USE OF THE AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE CARD UNDER THE ATM PAYROLL ACCOUNT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to send copies of this Resolution to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 21st day of February 2024, 3:25 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
