A RESOLUTION INTERPOSING NO OBJECTION TO THE APPLICATION OF RIZAL GAMING CORPORATION FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF PHILIPPINE AMUSEMENT AND GAMING CORPORATION (PAGCOR) APPROVED GAMING OUTLET (ELECTRONIC BINGO AND OTHER ELECTRONIC-GAMES) AT ITSP COMMERCIAL BUILDING, KM. 6, ORTIGAS EXTENSION, BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO, MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL
WHEREAS, this August Body received a referral letter from the Municipal Admin Office pertaining to the letter from Atty. Kristine Margaret Delos Reyes, Head of the Legal Department and Compliance Officer of Rizal Gaming Corp., requesting the renewal of the pre-existing resolution of no objection to the establishment of a PAGCOR-approved gaming outlet located at ITSP Bldg., Ortigas Ave., Extension, Barangay San Isidro, Taytay, Rizal;
WHEREAS, Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 Section 447 subsection 4 paragraph 7 provides for the authority of the Sangguniang Bayan to regulate the establishment, operation, and maintenance of entertainment or amusement facilities;
WHEREAS, the PAGCOR Gaming Site Regulatory Manual for Bingo Games requires the submission of a council resolution or ordinance from the Local Government Unit stating no objection to the establishment and operation of a gaming site situated within its locality;
WHEREAS, Rizal Gaming Corp., has committed itself to comply strictly with the existing and applicable rules, resolutions, ordinances, and other regulations of the Municipality of Taytay, Rizal for the establishment and operation of PAGCOR-Approved gaming outlet in the Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby GRANTS A RESOLUTION INTERPOSING NO OBJECTION TO THE APPLICATION OF RIZAL GAMING CORPORATION FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF PHILIPPINE AMUSEMENT AND GAMING CORPORATION (PAGCOR) APPROVED GAMING OUTLET (ELECTRONIC BINGO AND OTHER ELECTRONIC-GAMES) AT ITSP COMMERCIAL BUILDING, KM. 6, ORTIGAS EXTENSION, BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO, MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Office of the Mayor, the Municipal Legal Office, the Business Permit and Licensing Office, and all other concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that any violation committed by the Rizal Gaming Corporation, shall be subjected to the revocation of this Resolution of No Objection.
RESOLVED FURTHERMOST, that this Resolution of No Object shall be valid until the validity of their PAGCOR License.
ADOPTED, this 17th day of April 2024, 6:18 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
