A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND RATIFYING THE TAYTAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (TDC) RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - 005 ENTITLED: “A RESOLUTION AMENDING (ADDENDUM) THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) CY 2024 TO ADD THE AMOUNT OF SEVENTY-SEVEN MILLION NINE HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR PESOS AND THIRTY CENTAVOS (PHP 77,937,534.30)”
WHEREAS, Section 16 of the General Welfare Clause of RA 7160 provides in part that every local government unit shall exercise powers necessary for its efficient and effective governance and those which are essential to the promotion of the general welfare;
WHEREAS, Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that each Local Government Unit shall have a comprehensive multi-sectoral development plan to be initiated by its development council and approved by the Sangguniang Bayan;
WHEREAS, the Taytay Development Council (TDC) shall assist the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) in setting the direction of development effort within the municipality;
WHEREAS, last 13 December 2023, the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) had adopted and ratified the Annual Investment Program (AIP) CY 2024 through SB Resolution No. 339 series 2023;
WHEREAS, listed below are the details of the amendment;

4 Rehabilitation of Drainage System at E. Rodriguez Avenue. Brgy. San Isidro 20% DF 750,000.00
5 Concreting of Farm to Market Road at Barangay Sta. Ana 20% DF/GF/NGA 2,500,000.00
6 Purchase of Disaster Medical Supplies Trust Fund 1,301,694.30
7 Implementation of Connectivity Infrastructure and Leased Line Connection for Command Center Project Trust Fund 35,885,840.00
8 Purchase of Welfare Goods for Disaster Preparedness Trust Fund 4,000,000.00
9 Solid Waste Training for Youth Trust Fund 1,000,000.00
10 Installation of Video Wall of the Command Center Trust Fund 8,400,000.00
11 Purchase of Genset Trust Fund 5,600,000.00
12 Purchase of Drugs and Medicines Trust Fund 1,000,000.00
13 Construction of Maningning Creek Interceptor at Narra St. & Lanete St., Brgy. Sta. Ana 20% DF/GF/NGA 2,000,000.00
TOTAL 77,937,534.30
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby APPROVE AND RATIFY THE TAYTAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (TDC) RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - 005 ENTITLED: “A RESOLUTION AMENDING (ADDENDUM) THE ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) CY 2024 TO ADD THE AMOUNT OF SEVENTY-SEVEN MILLION NINE HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR PESOS AND THIRTY CENTAVOS (PHP 77,937,534.30)”
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 11th day of September 2024, 5:42 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
