A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN NG TAYTAY TO THE APPOINTMENT OF ATTY. LOREN MARIE B. MANDA AS THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL REGISTRAR OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL
WHEREAS, Section 443(a) of Republic Act (“R.A.”) No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that “there shall be in each municipality a municipal mayor, a municipal vice-mayor, sangguniang bayan members, a secretary to the sangguniang bayan, a municipal treasurer, a municipal assessor, a municipal accountant, a municipal budget officer, a municipal planning and development coordinator, a municipal engineer / building official, a municipal health officer and a municipal civil registrar”;
WHEREAS, Section 443(d) of R.A. 7160 states that the heads of departments and offices “shall be appointed by the Municipal Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all the Sangguniang Bayan members, subject to civil service law, rules and regulations”;
WHEREAS, on January 2, 2025, Municipal Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA, appointed Atty. Loren Marie B. Manda to serve as the Municipal Civil Registrar of the Municipal Government of Taytay, Province of Rizal;
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay concurs with the appointment of Atty. Loren Marie B. Manda as the Municipal Civil Registrar of the Municipal Government of Taytay, Province of Rizal;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, to EXPRESS THE CONCURRENCE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN NG TAYTAY TO THE APPOINTMENT OF ATTY. LOREN MARIE B. MANDA AS THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL REGISTRAR OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF TAYTAY, PROVINCE OF RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the appointment of Atty. Loren Marie B. Manda shall be subject to applicable laws, rules and regulations issued by the Civil Service Commission and other appropriate agencies.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this Resolution shall be furnished to the Civil Service Commission, the Municipal Human Resource Management Office, and to all concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
ADOPTED, this 8th day of January 2025, 3:12 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
