Resolution No. 446 series of 2024

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND PROUDLY CONGRATULATING THE ATLETANG TAYTAYEÑO MEDALISTS WHO PARTICIPATED AND WON AT THE PALARONG PAMBANSA 2024 AND REQUESTING THE HONORABLE MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON FOR INCENTIVES OF OUR STUDENT ATHLETES

WHEREAS, Section 3 (“a”) of the Republic Act 10588, also known as the Palarong Pambansa Act of 2013, states that one of its objectives is to institutionalize the Palarong Pambansa as the premier national sporting event/ of the country under the Department of Education (DepEd) as venue for talent identification, selection, and recruitment of student athletes;

WHEREAS, the 64th Palarong Pambansa, themed “Beyond Sports” which took place in Cebu City, gathered student-athletes from 17 athletic associations representing the 17 regions of the Philippines to compete in various sporting events;

WHEREAS, after the culmination of Palarong Pambansa 2024, held at Cebu City Sports Center and other venues within the host city from July 9 to 16, several Atletang Taytayeños from the different DepEd Taytay schools, representing CALABARZON won the following medals from various competitions:

WHEREAS, the Atletang Taytayeño Medalists together with their coaches, chaperons, and trainers have brought pride and honor not just to the Municipality of Taytay and the Province of Rizal but to the whole Region IV-A as well, thus deserving this commendation and incentives;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in a session duly assembled, hereby COMMENDS AND PROUDLY CONGRATULATES THE ATLETANG TAYTAYEÑO MEDALISTS WHO PARTICIPATED AND WON AT THE PALARONG PAMBANSA 2024 AND REQUESTING THE HONORABLE MAYOR ALLAN MARTINES. DE LEON FOR INCENTIVES OF OUR STUDENT ATHLETES.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to all Atletang Taytayeño Medalists mentioned in this resolution and other concerned offices for their information.

ADOPTED, this 26th day of July 2024, 2:50 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
