Resolution No. 319 series of 2023

A RESOLUTION HUMBLY AND EARNESTLY REQUESTING HONORABLE JUDE A. ACIDRE, TINGOG PARTYLIST REPRESENTATIVE, TO GRANT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO FIRE VICTIMS WHOSE HOUSES WERE TOTALLY DAMAGED BY THE FIRE INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED LAST OCTOBER 18, 2023 AT GONDOLA STREET, BARANGAY MUZON, TAYTAY, RIZAL

WHEREAS, based on the fire incident report of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management (BDRRM) of Barangay Muzon a fire incident happened last October 18, 2023 at Gondola Street, Barangay Muzon, Taytay, Rizal, and the aftermath of the fire 9 houses were burned during the said incident;

WHEREAS, the said disaster had left the following families suffering from the loss of their properties:
a) ABINA, LEO ARROYO
b) ROSAL, FEDERICO AMOQUIS
c) AGON, LIEZEL REGONDOLA
d) BACOLOD, GEMMA MALAQUILLA
e) AGON, ROWENA ROYALES
f) BACOLOD, JEMIELYN MALAQUILLA
g) PAMILARAN, RHODORA AZOREZ
h) BACOLOD, JOHN ROLDAN MALAQUILLA
i) ZAPANTA, CRIZALYN TAYAG

WHEREAS, Section 447(1)(iv) of the Local Government Code, states that one of the functions of the Sangguniang Bayan is to “Adopt measures to protect the inhabitants of the municipality from the harmful effects of manmade or natural disasters and calamities and to provide relief services and assistance for victims during and in the aftermath of said disasters or calamities and their return to productive livelihood following said events”;

WHEREAS, it is imperative that the victims of the said disaster be granted financial assistance, for them to be able to rebuild their houses and enable them, to start a normal life again;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby HUMBLY AND EARNESTLY REQUESTS HONORABLE JUDE A. ACIDRE, TINGOG PARTYLIST REPRESENTATIVE, TO GRANT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO FIRE VICTIMS WHOSE HOUSES WERE TOTALLY DAMAGED BY THE FIRE INCIDENT THAT OCCURRED LAST OCTOBER 18, 2023 AT GONDOLA STREET, BARANGAY MUZON, TAYTAY, RIZAL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Certifications of the fire victims form part of this Resolution.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned for their information and appropriate action.

ADOPTED, this 25th day of October 2023, 3:14 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
