Resolution No. 154 series of 2023

A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND COMMENDING FORMER MAYOR JANET DE LEON - MERCADO ON HER APPOINTMENT AS ONE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE (PCSO) BRINGING PRIDE AND HONOR TO THE MUNICIPALITY, SERVING AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL

WHEREAS, Former Mayor Janet De Leon - Mercado has been appointed as one of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Ofï¬ce, a government office known to provide aid and support to the most vulnerable sectors of the country;

WHEREAS, Former Mayor De Leon - Mercado, a resident of E.A. Cruz Street, Barangay San Juan, has served our municipality in different capacities as she was elected as Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson, Municipal Councilor, Municipal Vice Mayor and Municipal Mayor;

WHEREAS, to serve at the national government level is a huge opportunity to impact the lives of the Filipinos;

WHEREAS, Honorable De Leon - Mercado, a pride of Taytay, has continuously served the community in different capacities and still provides inspiration to fellow Taytayeños through public service;

WHEREAS, this August body wishes Former Mayor Janet De Leon - Mercado all the best in her new endeavors as one of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby CONGRATULATES AND COMMENDS FORMER MAYOR JANET DE LEON - MERCADO ON HER APPOINTMENT AS ONE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE PHILIPPINE CHARITY SWEEPSTAKES OFFICE (PCSO) BRINGING PRIDE AND HONOR TO THE MUNICIPALITY, SERVING AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished and forwarded to all concerned for their information and perusal.

ADOPTED, this 25th day of January, 2023, 2:10 PM at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall, Municipality of Taytay, Province of Rizal.
