ADOPTING AND RATIFYING MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (MDC) RESOLUTION NO. 2017-007 RESOLUTION REALIGNING THE FUND FROM THE 20% DEVELOPMENT FUND UN-APPROPRIATED BALANCE RETAINED EARNINGS FY 2016 (SURPLUS 2016) TO VARIOUS PRIORITY PROJECTS FOR THE MUNICIPALITY. <br />
WHEREAS, presented to the Honorable August Body is Municipal Development Council (MDC) Resolution No. 2017-007 for ratification;
WHEREAS, an amount of Eight Million Five Hundred Forty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Forty Two Pesos and Thirty Eight Centavos (P 8,549,442.38) was generated from the 20% Development Fund Un-appropriated Balance-Retained Earnings FY 2016 (Surplus);
WHEREAS, to maximize the utilization of the 20% Development Fund FY 2016 and to further achieve rapid, inclusive and sustained economic growth, there is a need to appropriate the amount of Eight Million Five Hundred Forty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Forty Two Pesos and Thirty Eight Centavos (P 8,549,442.38) From the 20% Development Fund Un-appropriated Balance-Retained Earnings FY 2016 (Surplus 2016) to various priority projects for the Municipality, in particular;
PROJECTS / PROGRAM / ACTIVITY AMOUNT
1) Construction of Sewage Treatment Plan (STP) Php 8,000,000.00
at New Taytay Public Market (NTPM) Brgy.
San Juan, Taytay, Rizal
2) Dredging / De-Clogging of Various Creeks and Php 549,442.38
Canals of the Five (5) Barangays
TOTAL 8,549,442.38
WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, As It Is Hereby resolved by the 9th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, In Session Duly Assembled, hereby ADOPTS AND RATIFIES MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (MDC) RESOLUTION NO. 2017-007 “RESOLUTION REALIGNING THE FUND FROM THE DEVELOPMENT FUND UN-APPROPRIATED BALANCE-RETAINED EARNINGS FY 2016 (SURPLUS 2016) TO VARIOUS PRIORITY PROJECTS FOR THE MUNICIPALITY;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this Resolution be forwarded to all concerned for their information and appropriate action;
ADOPTED, this 5th day of October, 2017 at the Session Hall of the Municipal Building, Taytay, Rizal.
